About the Role
MS Fibre are seeking skilled MDU Fibre Engineers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fibre optic networks within multi-dwelling units (MDUs). This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience on MDU builds is an advantage but not essential.
Requirements
Install, test, and maintain fibre optic cabling systems in multi-dwelling units.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently to ensure minimal downtime.
Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure timely project completion.
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and service requests.
Skills
Proficiency in fibre optic installation techniques and equipment.
Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
Previous experience in telecommunications or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
Must hold necessary MDU qualifications, such as SA002, SA0020, K8 and asbestos awareness
